I’ve Been Painting Like Crazy! September 14, 2007

I actually did 4 paintings in a week! Plus, I am finishing a 4′x3′ painting that I barely started over 2 years ago. I am proud of myself.
Here’s one. I call it “Mountain Sun”. It’s oil on canvas (11″x14″).
I will post photos of the others as well, once they dry and they photograph better.

I finally finished my painting of Diana and her sons. It’s my first painting from a photograph. I found it challenging, especially since the photo was a low-resolution 2″x1.5″ print from the Internet.
I call it ”Priorities”. Diana, despite her ‘obligation’ to save the world, always put her sons first. Having two kids of my own, I find that very inspiring.
